About
From Lima,
heading to San Francisco.
I'm Shiara — a design engineer with four years as a product designer in Peru. Somewhere along the way I stopped handing off designs and started shipping them, and I haven't looked back.
My favorite place to work is the seam between design and engineering: 3D and WebGL, interaction, motion, and the full-stack plumbing that makes an idea real. I like problems where the interface is the product — where how it feels and how it's built are the same question.
I've redesigned cross-border payments, built an AI tool for reading high-stakes financial contracts, and rebuilt how an entire country can read its own laws. On weekends I make fractals, teach a Rubik's cube to read my hands, and turn math into glass.
I'm looking for a design engineering role in San Francisco — somewhere that cares about craft and isn't afraid of the hard, beautiful parts.
